The investment strategy of Micro Finance Investment AG can be summarized in five key rules:

1.    Investments are made in areas of expertise:
only in-depth knowledge and understanding of the business will yield sustainable and satisfactory returns.

2.    A strong team of experts assesses each venture:
Our team features respected personalities from mining, exploration, logistics, financing, renewable energy solutions, bio-tech and bio-engineering.

3.    Acting as Entrepreneurs, not just investors:
We invest more than money into our investments, as we provide management expertise and marketing tools. This includes appropriate representation in companies.

4.    Investments can be made into publicly-traded, privately-owned companies and PPPs (Public, Private; Partnership).
Microfinance Investment AG invests up to 100% in start-up companies and provides management and assistance to them.

5.    We invest for the medium to long term,
i.e. at least 3 years, and can hold investments theoretically indefinitely.
   
Our exit strategies include IPOs, Management Buy-in/out and Mergers.
