To participate in tomorrow’s game, one needs to start yesterday. Therefore Microfinance has already initiated dialogues with institutional entities such as the Fraunhofer Institute, Ben Gurion University and the Weizmann Institute.

The group has set its eye on creating, developing and promoting joint activities between the above insititutions, to advance the transformation period and achieve higher efficiencies in its areas of experise.

In the field of alternative energy solutions, feasibily studies amongst others are being made in cooperation with known industry leaders. Once accomplished, projects/technologies enter the pipeline of commercial eva luations, and may then be considered for financing and  entry to the portfolio of the group.

On the backdrop of the current market reality, evidence suggests that on average only 20% of the produced energy is not lost. Therefore, Microfinance is looking to invest a considerable amount of funding into R&D, especially within the arena of energy storage.
